Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo (“the app”, “we”, “us”), published by DevOrbitLabs, handles information when you use the app. We built Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo to be a private, on-device planning tool — your debts are your business, and we designed it that way from the start.
The short version: The financial details you enter stay on your device (and in your own private iCloud, if enabled). We have no server that stores your debts, we never ask you to connect a bank account, we don't sell your data, and there are no advertising trackers.
1. Information you enter (stays on your device)
Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo lets you record and plan your debts. This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database, and includes:
- Debts you add — name, category, current and original balance, interest rate (APR), minimum payment and due date;
- Payments you log — amount, principal/interest split, date and any notes;
- Payoff plans, strategy selections and simulated scenarios;
- Personal IOUs — a contact name you type, amounts, and whether they're owed to or by you;
- Your onboarding answers and preferences (goal, motivation style, extra-payment ability, preferred currency);
- Reminders you choose to enable.
We do not receive or store this information on any server we control. You do not create an account, and no login is required to use the app.
2. Private iCloud sync
If your device has iCloud enabled, Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo can sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit in your private iCloud account. This syncing happens directly between your devices and Apple's iCloud — DevOrbitLabs cannot access, read, or view the contents of that data. Your use of iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
3. Analytics (how the app is used)
To understand how features are used and to improve the app, we use Mixpanel as our analytics provider. This collects product-usage and interaction events — for example, that the app was opened, that an onboarding step or a simulator was used, that a debt was added or marked paid, or that a screen was viewed — together with basic technical information such as app version, device model, and operating system.
These events describe how you interact with the app, not the identity of the people or companies behind your debts. We use this data only in aggregate to improve Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo. Mixpanel processes this information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo offers an optional premium subscription. Purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which manages subscription status and receipt validation on our behalf. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account — we never receive or store your card or payment details. RevenueCat processes subscription and transaction information under its privacy policy; Apple processes your purchase under Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. What we do NOT do
- We do not connect to your bank, use Plaid, or import data from financial institutions.
- We do not move money or process payments toward your debts.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not include advertising SDKs or ad trackers.
- We do not require an account, email, or login to use the app.
6. Data sharing
We share information only with the service providers described above (Apple, Mixpanel, RevenueCat) strictly so the app can function and improve, and only when required by law. When you export a CSV or PDF of your plan, that file is generated on your device and shared only where you choose to send it via the iOS share sheet.
7. Data retention & deletion
Because your financial data lives on your device and in your private iCloud, you are in control of it at all times. You can delete any debt, payment, or IOU inside the app, and you can remove all data by deleting the app and clearing its iCloud data from your device settings. Analytics events retained by Mixpanel are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and in line with Mixpanel's retention practices.
8. Security
Your data benefits from Apple's device-level protections and encrypted iCloud sync. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, but keeping your data on-device and off our servers meaningfully reduces risk.
9. Children's privacy
Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo is a personal-finance tool intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International users
Debt Snowball Calculator Snolo is available in multiple regions. Where analytics or purchase providers process data, that processing may occur in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards described in their respective privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected in the app or on this page.
